The National Association For Information Destruction (NAID) offers a highly respected secure data destruction certification program, which helps companies to find qualified providers of secure data destruction. NAID's mission is to promote the information destruction industry and the standards and ethics of its member companies.

In June 2005, Back Thru The Future became the first dedicated electronic recycling facility in the United States to receive the NAID AAA Certification as a secure data destruction facility for hard drive destruction. Back Thru The Future was appointed and currently holds a seat on NAID’s Hard Drive Destruction Certification committee.

What is certification? Any vendor can say they’ll certify destruction. NAID AAA is the ONLY industry certification.
